With the 2010 Frankfurt Auto Show fastly approaching German manufacturers (more than others) will take the opportunity to be in the spotlight with their newest creations. Mercedes Benz is no exception and their new SLS may be the star of their presentation.

To keep your interest high about the car, we bring you yet another set of spyshots showing the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. Although many of the details regarding the car are already known, the fact that it still wears camo hints to some pretty interesting developments regarding the body of the SLS.

It will be powered by an AMG tweaked 6.2-liter V8 powerplant that generates 571 horsepower (420 kW) at 6,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 650 Nm at 4,750 rpm. The unit allows the SLS to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and tops at 315 km/h (195 mph).

The power unit will be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and will offer sports suspensions with aluminum double wishbones as standard.

If you have been watching, you know Mercedes Benz has up its sleeve two additional SLS goodies: the roadster and the electric drive SLS. Whereas it is only understandable the roadster version will boast the same amount of power from the same engine, the electric sports car promises the same performances coming from four electric motors positioned near the wheels: a combined peak output of 392 kW (525 hp) and a maximum torque of 880 Nm.
